EiffelBase is a set of libraries of basic classes and is part of the ISEEiffel 3 software development environment.The Kernel Library covers the most common programming needs. It consistsof universal classes providing facilities which are potentially usefulfor all classes. It provides fine control of the exception handlingmechanism.The Support Library provides a number of classes that extend the languageand environment facilities, enabling programmers to develop advanced usesof Eiffel.The Data Structure Library provides implementations of fundamental datastructures and algorithms such as abstract structures, various lists,list elements, circular chains, etc.The Iterators Library provides high-level templates that avoid usingcontrol structures like loops. It facilitates writing features so thatcontrol structures are more easily modified in descendant classes.The Winpack Library supports multiwindowing applications development oncharacter-based terminals.
